Brock Butler will be performing solo this Saturday evening at The Georgia Theatre in Athens, GA. This will be a free show and Brock will be situated on the deck of the actual bar. If you're into a mellow evening and some mellow drinks, then venture on out to experience the mellow fellow at his best - live and up close. See you Saturday night!
Typically we do not usually re-post fan mail here on http://www.pgroove.com, but this story is too good to pass up. We received a letter last week from a young fan's mom who attended the most recent Variety Playhouse concert. Eric, unfortunately, did not have the money to purchase his ticket for the show and said he would do anything if his mom would go out and purchase the ticket for him. She obliged, but not before Eric made a trip to the local blood bank to donate. So Eric, we salute you for not only "doing anything" to get to the show, but for also donating yourself to a worthy cause! Check the picture out of Eric sportin' his PGroove ball cap at the blood bank while donating.....
Perpetual Groove will be returning to Mr. Small's Funhouse in Pennsylvania on October 24th. This is a great venue and we are anticipating the return! On November 9th, Perpetual Groove will make their first appearance at The Cox Capitol Theatre in Macon, GA. The theatre was recently renovated and we are excited to finally find a good home for the band in Macon. This show is on a Friday, so we hope that you'll all make the effort to come support the new venue.
Finally, Perpetual Groove will be performing two shows at the first annual Bear Creek Music Festival during the weekend of November 16th. This festival, headed by the creators of the now defunt Down on the Farm Festival will be taking place just miles from the old site in Quincy Florida. Joining the line-up are Umphrey's McGee, Little Feat, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Rose Hill Drive, The New Mastersounds and many, many more.
