Announcing Amberland 2008
2•16•2008
You are cordially invited to attend Amberland 2008! Fans and friends, new and old, are invited to come experience the annual Perpetual Groove ritual known as Amberland this Memorial Day Weekend, at Cherokee Farms in Lafayette, GA. We're just a stone's throw North of Atlanta on I-75 and just South of Chattanooga - somewhere in the middle, on a beautiful piece of rolling property where once again we will come together to close out the spring and kick off the summer.
Amberland is a Perpetual Groove tradition, a giant ice cream social, an excuse to all get together under the stars, and a time to celebrate this fantastic community that has developed and evolved around the band over the past seven years. It's a weekend marathon of fun, sun, great friends, and the perfect summer soundtrack of music from your favorite band. In a time that continues to be inundated with events that force you to sprint from stage to stage, we offer ample time for relaxation and socializing for those in attendance. Often times its the notes that aren't played that provide for some of the most timeless memories and moments, onstage and off.
Tickets will be sold in tiered allotments, and as each allotment sells out, that price tier will close. Buying early will save you big bucks, so lock in your ticket as early as possible to secure the best deal. Ticket prices include early Friday admission, car camping, six sets from Perpetual Groove, the annual Sunday morning Brockfest, and much more. Tickets will go on sale February 19th, at 12:00PM EST through Perpetual Groove's online ticketing site under the "tour" tab of the official band website,
http://www.pgroove.com. Ticket prices are as follows:
Early Bird Special #1 - $65.00
Early Bird Special #2 - $75.00
Early Bird Special #3 - $85.00
Early Bird Special #4 - $95.00
Day of Show Weekend Pass - $105.00
There will be no RV passes sold this year, but you are welcome to bring an RV, camper, or tow behind trailer. You will be directed to a specific camping area, so as to not disturb the primitive camping areas. Days passes will be sold only for Sunday at a cost of $50.00, there are no Saturday-only passes. Amberland is a no re-entry event, so please come prepared for the weekend. We will not have ATMs or credit card machines on site this year, so please come prepared with plenty of cash for vending and basic supplies that will be made available at the general store. Jeff Wood of Drowning Creek Studios will once again be producing another beautiful limited edition print to commemorate the event and for those that purchase the print, you will have the opportunity to have it signed by the band.
We're extremely excited to have the opportunity to once again host the best fans around for another memorable weekend. Please spread the word, tell your friends, bring your friends, make new friends and bring them too - your words are our best promotional tool! Keep checking back to
http://www.pgroove.com or the Amberland MySpace page (
http://www.myspace.com/pgamberland) for more information in the next two weeks, including travel directions, special theme night announcements, and more general details! We've also opened a special Amberland forum on the band's official online community message forum, Talking In Place. You must be a member of the forum to view and post, so if you have any questions or just want to chat more about the event, then please sign up and join the group!
We can't wait to see you again this year!

The Save 41 Tour Announcement
12•13•2007
Rising out of the ashes of New Year’s Eve, Perpetual Groove breaks into the new year to kick off the “Save 41 Tour,” which will carry the band through four months of touring from coast to coast with stop’s at some of the world’s best festivals including Jam Cruise, Langerado, and Jam in the Dam - an epic weekend of music in the Netherlands.
The band’s first official live release, the 2-disc “Echos From The Cave,” drops in late February. It was recorded in the Spring of 2006 in front of an intimate studio audience at Tree Sound Studios. The release culls together the best from both nights including fan favorites, “Teakwood Betz,” “Only Always,” and “Mr. Transistor.” Also included on the release are several previously unreleased songs like “Suburban Speedball,” and “T.T.F.P.J.” The album was recorded and mixed by Shawn Grove (Sevendust, Collective Soul, Edwin McCain) and is being released with Tree Leaf Music.

The $1 Buck Chuck
12•10•2007
Finals got you down? Feeling your inner scrooge take hold? Fear not blessed congregation, because the Reverend is back in town and ready to get down with all of you! Economic students take note, we're bucking the trend here. What can you get for a buck these days? A Newspaper? Some gum? A third of a gallon of gas? Pretty lame. With that in mind, The Reverend's show on Thursday night (DEC 13) is only going to set you back $1.00. It's the holidays and the wallet is tight, but you still need to have some fun, blow off some steam. Hey, maybe finals ain't over yet for you! Maybe the Coffee House is packed! Not a problem, the Georgia Theatre has your back once again with plenty of space to dance, linger, drink, and if you feel so inclined, a late night study session. Come get down with the Reverend once more this Thursday at your favorite little theatre....

2008 is going to be a hell of a year. After returning from Jam Cruise, the members of Perpetual Groove will be dusting off the old skies and getting ready to head out to Colorado for a little fun in the snow. Our good friends, The Disco Biscuits, have invited the band out for a special two show run - marking the first time the two bands will grace the stage together at an event other then a major festival. On January 18th, the circus will be headed to The Fillmore in Denver and then on the 19th, the caravan moves on down the road to Vail for a night at Dobson Ice Arena. Tickets for both shows are available through
http://www.ticketmaster.com and are on sale now. For more information about The Disco Biscuits, please check out our friends website at
