Maybe we can’t handle the truth !!

is it better to stay naive/ignorant or know some bitter truths that you cannot unlearn?

knowledge allows you have more control, but like u say, some can’t handle the truth.

Not sure that the Lips and Pgroove shows should be compared in any, way, shape or form. After watching the Lips live and on DVD a bunch, Wayne is pretty direct and seems to want an emotional reaction from the crowd, and he gets it and it just makes the sing alongs so much better. Halloween Proove wasn’t a sing along, for the most part, never really are. If the show was thought provoking , that is a far cry from an emotional crowd reaction to supplement the music. One band does it every night and one band did it on Halloween one time. I had a great time at both, would I go to two Lips shows on two consecutive days, no way, Pgroove run, absolutely.

i wasn’t there, but i sure as hell didnt see any of that the next night in boone….

i know one thing, when these types of emotions are given in the music, it always leaves me with goosebumps, it is good to know that the band i love so much is not a group of callous pussies that do not stand for what they believe… i hate politics, the entire political process, i hate blind ignorance, biased opinions, democrats and republicans, & the fact that no one i meet understands the world economy in the slightest, free is truly fair and fair as it is commonly used is protectionism, protectionism serves the rich…. so on and so forth, but that is my opinion.  whether i agree or disagree with any agenda, voices are meant to be heard & feelings expressed, especcially through art.  i commend the band on their works & their voice… it fires the music

James 2:17-18: “Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.  But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”
