They usually have local support here. Last time it was a bunch of young guys. From Clemson maybe…I forget. Very nice, enthusiastic and all big fans of PG who were thrilled to be sharing the stage with them.
Last Friday night I was in excruciating pain, with fever, cold sweats and fatigue. I had been sleeping 10+ hours a day/night for weeks and my symptoms had been getting progressively worse. I packed a bag that night in case I needed to go to the hospital the next day. Day by day though I have been getting better, and had an ultrasound Wednesday which showed only a slightly inflamed lymph node.
So today I already had my bag packed and ready, and feel so fortunate to have such great family and friends, and to have been well enough to have traveled down here to see PG. It’s not like we’ll get shorted an entire set of music if they only play 1 set. The difference between one long set and them having the luxury of time to take a 15 minute set break is about 1 song. So maybe they will have to trim Escape off the set list tonight. Apologies to those of you that had it in your fantasy lists!
