hands down the BEST new years ever! from catching up with my friends who i haven’t seen in forever, to making new friends from all over, to laughing until sunrise with DeAnna, Jason, Steve, Suzie, Brock, Randall, Kenny, Ana, Foley.
it was one for the books.
oh, and the music was simply the best i have ever seen out of the guys.

I don’t even know where to start on how amazing this weekend was…what an absolutely ridiculous start to the new year. Epic moment meeting the other David Preston - I didn’t see the comments about that in other thread until now, so had no idea that was coming. I was at the ticket window on Saturday night getting my credit card that I left there on Friday…they asked me what my name was, and when I told them like 4 voices behind me said WHAT??!!!!!!!! And then it finally made sense as to why Randall was giving me (good natured) crap for the past 2 days when I was pretty sure I just met him for the first time on Friday. Anyways we just pulled back into to South FL this afternoon so I’m looking forward to my first night in about a week not sleeping on a couch or pull out bed…the only complaint I have about the Artmore is those pull out beds were pretty terrible - shoulda brought an air mattress. As always it was freaking great hanging with everyone, old friends and new. And I’m not even going to get started on how good the music was because that could take several pages. BRING ON THE MARCH CULTURE ROOM SHOWS!!! |

Agreed Todd! Still trying to process everything… I think this could have been the best pgroove show I have ever seen. It was so great to catch up with old friends and new ones. Much thanks to hruby and everything he has brought to the band. He will be truly missed! Look forward to seeing him sitting in future dates 5 piece style! Much love to perpnation! |

Yes to all of the above. Still will never catch up on the missed sleep, who cares. The courtyard was epic, after shows amazing. Special shout out to Pgrooves amazing ability to come up with the perfect cover for the exact right moment. The Cave in Cairo is great, but the Jesus Jones “Right here, right now” in the middle of Green Tea, was completely unexpected and fantastic. However, the Arcade Fire’s “Wake up” just before New Years with the girls on stage, gave me chills and a huge smile. Enjoyed every minute of it. |
