If they swapped Pgroove for uh i dunno,, the Crash Test Dummies or Green Day,, It would’ve been the perfect venue to torture terrorists.  Hands down the hottest (temp. wise) show I’ve ever attended.  The college kids had a very hard time standing in one place for longer than 30 seconds per the norm.  Music was great tho   cheese

Did you attend the Masquerade “Heaven” show down there in ATL when our guys played a night show following the Biscuits/Umphrey’s afternoon deal in the Masquerade Park a few summers ago?  If it was hotter temp than that, whew!

Yes I did attend that show!!  And I also attended the Variety Playhouse show when half the A/C system wasn’t working.  I still give the nod to the Athens show for being the most oppressive for lack of moving air.  At least with the Masq show you could find an A/C vent and stand right under it.  But I have to agree with you,, it was like an oven in there

I honestly thought that building was gonna collapse during that jam > teakwood (which in my opinion was way hotter than that room).
That would have been pretty badass if pgroove rocked that building right off its foundation.

When I first tried to order, they refused CASH!  Said they didn’t have time to make change with the sudden onrush of folks.
