happened to me as well.
i hope its just a temporary thing.
granted jam_on wasnt all that diverse, at least it was more than one band ya know….

Jam_ON moves to:
• On your radio at SIRIUS Ch. 81 and XM Ch. 56
• Online at SIR) Ch. 17 and XMRO Ch. 56

I’ve tried that and channel 81 on my radio comes up as a Cinemagic station. Meanwhile my channel 17 still says JamOn but it plays Pearl Jam 24/7, which is not a bad thing at all, but I do like listening to Phish at nights and the new live music show every weekend.

oh weak dude. i havent tried to look for the new jam_on in my car yet, but like you said, my channel 17 still says jam_on so in sure im having the same issue

Channel 17 is still showing up as Jam_On but has switched to Pearl Jam Radio.  81 is still showing up as Cinemagic but has switched to Jam_On.  They haven’t changed the titles of the channels yet but the programming has switched.  Give it a listen, 81 is definitely Jam_On. Phish hour is only Monday thru Friday nites I think.

I got to travel a few hours each way to see Phish on 10/23 and 24, and one of my favorite things about Jam_On is the latenight dance trance poo they play, so I was all sorts of unhappy to see Pearl Jam radio not only for that entire weekend of driving, but the week following also.  Glad to see 81 in full swing!

Channel 81 doesn’t work on my receiver. It probably has something to do with the fact that I only pay for 50 channels, and 81 isn’t one of them. Tiffany, do you get all Sirius channels or do you pay by the channel?

Oh shit, I’d be pissed Harl.  I just subscribed maybe half a year ago and was about to throw a fit if they got rid of Jam_On.  It’s the primary reason I subscribed.  Pretty sure I get all the channels.

The change came a couple of weeks ago.  I was lucky enough to have been listening in advance when they announced that it would be changing.  Yet when you listen to all their shameless self promo msgs that play between every song, they still have the same ones that give the wrong channel number constantly playing.  I guess the lower number channels are reserved for the top rated channels, and Jam On just can’t get the ratings because they play DMB’s Ants Marching and The Dispatch’s “The General” every fucking hour to the point where anyone in their right mind has either switched to the GD channel or has turned off their radio.  So obnoxious!  Newsflash: The Dispatch broke up 3 years ago!
