I’d like to hear a version with a little more speed in the beginning, but I think I might be nit-picking a little much.

this was actually the first tune I wrote from scratch for the band. the rest of my tunes (screen, temperance, overt, drink then fill) have all come from GUEST or my solo stuff.

I wanted a song that had parts that suited each individual of the band. i am really happy with how this tune is shaping up.

I left the end of the song open for interpretation, and all of us contributed to the end ‘jam section’.

i am digging the ending. because of this thread, i finally decided to listen to the song in it’s entirety. the end sord of made the song come together for me. i still dont know if i like the verse structure part and intro, but hearing the beautiful jam go into the chorus made the melodies make sense for me. maybe the rest will catch on.

Sounds like some of the nights I’ve had! I’ve been known to speak in sentence fragments myself on occasion.
