BurbonSong - 28 December 2010 05:34 PM LiZaFeR - 27 August 2010 02:53 PM just now settled in - 16 July 2010 01:53 PM Wilco - Spiders (Kidsmoke)
Just imagine the possibilities of that jam.
I got excited when I saw this…. and then I realized who the poster was. Makes sense! But I agreeeeeee!
I want to say that they played this back in ‘08 out in Colorado with Matt, the Cervantes show
Rick, Krista, Do ya’ll remember this?
they also did a little more than a tease of it at a New Years run
i think it was 2006-07
the two night GA theater and then charelston, sc run one
ETA: here it is, in the Glock Jam

This would be the TITS. And yeah, they have teased/covered Floyd a bunch…but these two are the ones I most want to hear.
I think an Any Colour bust out during the slow funky breakdown of Green Tea would melt a few faces.

stringfolk - 28 December 2010 05:11 PM i think they should go ahead and play a TV on the Radio song completely. DLZ would be my choice.
Boom! I’m going to Vegas with this guy…
I’m putting my vote in for ‘Strangers’ by 311:

I wouldn’t mind seeing the boys pull a Flaming Lips move and just do an entire DSotM set.
But I would actually prefer a PGroove version of “Echoes”. The possibilities are endless on that one.

Anything by Booker T. & the MG’s. “Time is Tight” would be especially awesome as an opener.

phishfulperp - 28 February 2011 10:50 PM bulls on parade! -Rage
Not sure if this was tongue in cheek, but they did used to do this quite a lot a few years back
One of the most memorable would be at the Mount View Jam in Elon, NC after the festival was almost shut down due to a rampant renegade doser of those who did not wish to be dosed with scary synthetics…...“Rally ‘round the family” was intense indeed.

Not tongue in cheek at all… I would die to hear it live. That Mount View Jam experience does sound pretty intense. I wet to a mini PG concert at Brock’s high school in VA last year or maybe the year before….he told us that his high school band was playing at some school event and had a strict guideline as to what they were to play… nonetheless they opened with Bulls on Parade. So ever since then I bring a ‘bulls on parade’ sign whenever I’m at a PG show, but have still yet to hear it live.
...as for another cover I thought of while writing…“Oh, Atlanta” by Little Feat
