Nice Work! Good to see growth in any market, especially away from the southeast. Hope this one pulls in a crowd.

I’ve got a good friend and fellow perp who just moved to DC. Never been there before. I’ve been looking for an excuse to go visit and this seems like a perfect opportunity.

Plan to make the trip from Elizabeth City, NC.  Just hoping Harl’s bro rides along with me.  I usually fall asleep around the 64 95 junction so I’ll need some help making the drive.  haha

The 9:30 Club is great, the staff and security who work there, not so much.  Most of them are just downright mean and rude.  The Norva is the same way, and I think it’s owned by the same people.

Libbie and I talked last night, and I think we are going to try and swing this.  Now I just need to figure out if I can make it to King George the night before as well.  Damn you work, always interfering with my social and musical activities!!

I am going to (either way) play these two jobs against one another to get these days off
No way I miss this show

I really wish I could make this.  If you get there early you can walk up a few blocks on U Street and grub at Ben’s Chili Bowl: http://www.benschilibowl.com/ordereze/default.aspx  It’s pretty delish, and somewhat of landmark.  Also, U St. has several bars on it.

It’s worth parking in the 930’s lot for $10.  I’ve seen all sorts of cars get broken into.  Beaters included.

I’m driving up from Knoxville for this show… if anyone wants to ride. So exciting!

i saw this place on an episode of ‘no reservations.’ i’m def gonna check it out.

i’ll be in DC for a few days, and my friend has to work, so that gives me some time to explore and do my tourist thing.

anything specific i should do? i’ve never been before.

i want to check out the smithsonian, either the air and space or natural history museum.
