What ever happened to Zapatta?  I liked the one or two versions I heard from archive (can’t remember which show).  Didn’t seem like they really gave it a chance to mature!

I guess it’s just me…

but I thinks there’s a lot of Zapata in Holy Ship

this would make sense, because i had never heard “holy ship” before i saw it live, but when they played it, i felt like i had heard it before.  i haven’t gone back and listened to the two simultaneously, but you might be on to something.

i just dont see crowds out there “getting” suburban speedball, especially as an opener. I love it though.

People used to totally dig Suburban Speedball! I figured they shelved it because Hruby didn’t have the certain effect needed to make the suburban speedball sound (same one heard in Legends of Preston).

I think at one time it (Speedball) was a rarity, now….not so much - more of a slow rotation, imo..

I guess shelved was to strong of a word.

Billy, I’d say it is more rare nowadays. I feel like I saw it way more often back in 05-06. Could be wrong. I’ll have to check the perparchive later
