Now that McD is back might a rerelease be in order?  Hopefully with all five sets?  For me, this marks the best live recording ever from PGroove and in turn the greatest live album ever made!  Yes, you heard me Frampton Comes Alive and Kiss Alive II!

The Teakwood alone has been played in the 4 digit range
for myself. I actually started writing a paper called, ” A Lunatix
Guide to Teakwood Betz” because of this version.

As I recall Space Paranoids was the very first song played, seems like we were killing the keg at the time. This was a whim of ours and so much fun to attend. Never heard them either Toddles, hell, didn’t even know you were there. Didn’t know the music had ever been released. Damn I feel like a noob.

“after their show, most fans were raving about the powerful, extended take on Aim and the improvisation that began the encore, and eventually unfolded into Perihelion. ” review of the show from jambands.com. this is what i want to hear. http://www.jambands.com/news/2006/03/21/perpetual-groove-echoes-from-the-cave

Essentially these tunes are missing from the earlier release. my hopes are for a future double disk release. plenty of material to choose from. it would be a shame, if this material is in fact of the same quality of the earlier release, that a wider audience wouldn’t be able to appreciate it. Or they just have another event similar and treat is as PG 2.012’s first major release. A fresh, high quality, and tight recording would undoubtedly start up some momentum. my 2 cents.

As far as I know that’s all that has ever been released when it was available to purchase this time of year in 2009 i believe…easily best sound quality of any of their “own” mixed recordings..
